7 Sunday Confessions Sept. 19. 2010

Sunday Confessions is a weekly meme.  I wanted to find a way to share a little about myself and learn more about my followers. Some of my topics will be book related, others not so much. This is all in good fun so please feel free leave a comment to participate.

This weeks Sunday Confessions is on favorite quotes. I don't know about you, but sometimes when I read a book, watch a movie/tv show or listen to music a certain phrase will stick out. You know, the phrase that pops into your head when ever someone mentions the title.  For me, my quote comes from the Princess Bride.  I love the book and movie and this quote is found in both:

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya; you killed my father; prepare to die."

Nobody says this quote better than Mandy Patinkin, who played Inigo Montoya in the movie:

Now it's your turn! Tell me what your favorite quote from a book, movie, tv show, or song. I look forward to seeing your answers!

  1. Hi Marcie! I'm participating in the Fall Giveaway so I thought I'd stop by and say hello.

One of my favorite quotes is from Top Gun, which I watched approximately 20 times in high school :)

"Son, your ego's writing checks your body can't cash."

  5. I totally agree with The Princess Bride! Although I'm always saying "That's inconceivable!"

I'm sure there are others that I use, but that's the one that's sticking out for me because of your awesome example.

  7. Great quote! I don't know The Princess Bride but I'm going to do a Princess Bride read-a-long in October. So, I'll be totally in the know at the end of it.
