4 Sunday Confessions February 20, 2010

This is a weekly meme started by yours truly as a way to get to share a bit about myself and also learning more about you. Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate.

Saturday I went to an antique shop. In this shop they had many old wardrobes. While I was admiring one in particular I asked my children if they wanted to get inside and see if it would take them to Narnia. My oldest child looked at me and said "you know Narnia is not a real place?". Of course I know it's not a real place, but that got me thinking. If you could be transported into any book, what book would it be? This was a hard question to answer myself. At first I thought Narnia but only after the white witch has been defeated because I'm tired of being cold. My next thought was Pride and Prejudice. I'd throw Lizzy in front of a carriage and have a go at Mr. Darcy. Then I thought since murder isn't really my thing, I probably pick the magical world of Harry Potter.  Since I'm reading the books right now, I find myself getting lost in the stories. Of course they have Lord Voldermort but every story has it negatives.  How about you?

If you could be transported into any book, what book would it be?

*If you answer this question on your own blog, leave a link in the comments so I can come visit.

  1. I agree on P&P. I love Mr. Darcy. :) Mine would actually be any Jane Austen book. I LOVE her books! I think Harry Potter is great too!

): because I'm doing a book challenge and I wanted to read other books besides Harry Potter. Though, he is pretty amazing. [:
I've also wondered what it would be like to be transported into a book as well [:
