5 Sunday Confessions April 10, 2011

This is a weekly meme started by yours truly as a way to get to share a bit about myself and also learning more about you. Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate.

This week's question comes from a book I read last week. In this book a girl is able to time travel. She goes to quite a few periods in time. After I finished the book, I started to think about what time period I would most like to visit. I came up with a few. I would love to visit the roaring 1920's. I think it would be so much fun to be a flapper.
I'd also like to like to travel back to the 1800's. I would love to see first hand what it was like in regency times. I'd have to go visit Jane Austen while I was there. That would be a must! I probably wouldn't stay very long because I've been spoiled by all the modern day conveniences. It would still be nice to visit.

So what about you?
If you could travel back in time to any period in history,
which would you choose?

If you answer this question on your own blog, please leave me a link in the comments so I can come visit.

  2. Awesome question!!! And I love your answers, especially visiting Jane Austen! That would be cool! *whispers* ~ If you ever do get the chance, make sure you get an author interview while you’re there! ;)
Me, I would visit the late 1600s through the 1700s. I would love to talk to the people during this time period and even sail the Alantic (since I would want to visit the Colonies, England, and the Caribbean). Though, I would have to think of some way to sneak aboard since women were rarely allowed on ships.

  3. @Ketch, I would LOVE to interview Jane but she probably wouldn't like that since she loved her privacy. Sailing on a ship would be a hard knock life as well as a fantastic experience. If you ever travel back in time make sure to eat some oranges to avoid scurvy. LOL
