Scott Nicholson blog tour and giveaway!
Today on To Read or Not To Read, I have the multi-talented Scott Nicholson. He's here promoting his latest book, Liquid Fear. I'm so thrilled to have Scott Nicholson here today and to be participating in this tour.
What’s Your Liquid Fear? (Mark Morgan)
By Scott Nicholson
How can we make money on liquid fear?
That’s what Mark Morgan wants to know. A handsome young executive for the pharmaceutical giant CRO, Mark’s job is to woo influential people in Washington . He’s also married to a member of the President’s Council on Bioethics and a respected neurosciences researcher. The lines of loyalty become blurred when he learns of his wife’s involvement in a shady drug trial.
As Mark digs deeper, he learns the drug he has been shepherding through the approval process has a dangerous twin, a mysterious rage-inducing drug that an ambitious senator wants for his own political advantage.
When Mark’s wife disappears, he takes action, entering the dark heart of the experiments and getting a taste of the drugs himself. As he is stripped down to his most primitive emotions, he hopes his love for his wife is strong enough to push away all those other impulses—ones that threaten not only his sanity, but the lives of those around him.
Liquid Fear. A little drop will do.

Rage inducing drug? Hmmmm...reminds me of one of my favorite movies, 28 Days Later, although I'm not sure if they were experimenting with a drug. Probably though, since the government always seems to be experimenting on some drug that might be useful in warfare. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I really want to read this book now (: sounds so interesting!
ReplyDeleteSounds like an exciting thriller.

ReplyDeleteWho'd have thought, participating in a clinical drug trial 10 years' ago would unleash such nightmares. Who'd have thought that upon awakening from the nightmares .... the horror is still there!!! Susan
