Sunday Confessions May 15, 2011

This is a weekly meme started by yours truly as a way to get to share a bit about myself and also learning more about you. Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate.

Yesterday I introduced my daughter to the movie, The Princess Bride. I absolutely loved The Princess Bride when growing up and I couldn't wait for her to be old enough to watch it.  I would go as far as saying The Princess Bride is in my top ten favorite movies of all time. A few years ago I read the book for the first time too. I thoroughly enjoyed the book as well. If you've not watched this movie, you should! So this week's question is:

What's one of your top ten movies of all time?

*If you answer this question on your own blog, leave a link in the comments so I can come visit.

  1. I would have to say... "Made In Heaven". Princess Bride ranks right up there as well, but Made In Heaven is a movie that has really stuck with me since my first time watching it. :D

  2. Here are my Top Ten. Happy Sunday!

  3. I can't just give one. I have to give a few.

    Gone with the Wind
    Little Women
    The Sound of Music
    The Princess Bride
    Meet me in St. Louis

I really those. I watched them for the first time when I was much younger and I watched them over and over again.

  4. "Wizard of Oz" Back in the day when you only five of channels would play it once a year and I would count the days until I could watch it...:D

  5. Hey Marcie - happy sunday. So glad your daughter enjoyed The Princess Bride. As I mentioned on twitter, my Stepfather brought it home one day, I was about how old Fred was in the film, and he made me watch it. I was reluctant, just like Fred in the film. But after watching it - I was totally in love. I actually did an audio recording of the film and played it on a looping tape all night long so I could learn all the words!
