Sunday Confession June 5, 2011

This is a weekly meme started by yours truly as a way to get to share a bit about myself and also learning more about you. Sometimes its about books and book related topics and sometimes it's not. This is all in good fun and I would love it if you would participate.

Today's question is:
What would you do if today was the last day of your life?
Would you do anything differently? Would you go on like you always do? I know this is a morbid question. Nobody likes to think of death but I started wondering about this question after that guy falsely predicted that there would be a rapture a few weeks ago. If we knew we only had a certain number of days left would we do things differently. I mulled over this question in my head for a few day and finally came up with my answer. Yes. I would do things differently. I would love to say that I would change nothing but the truth is I'm not perfect. I would spend my last day or days with my family. Because in the end they're the ones that matter most to me. Everything else pales in comparison.  I wouldn't worry about all the daily stuff that I usually do. I probably wouldn't even make my bed.

What about you?
If you answer this question on your own blog, leave me a link in the comments so I can come visit.

  1. I would spend time with my family, sit on the beach. Watch the sun rise and set, if I'm lucky. I'd pray. I'd cry. I'd ask God for forgiveness. Take notice of the smaller things in life: squirrels playing, the sound of children laughing. Hug everyone. All the the things I do now, just to the 10th degree, cubed, know what I mean?
