Goodreads Summary:
Torn between love and sex. By the time Connie decides, it could be too late.

Consumed by desire, Connie’s body yields to Mellor’s outrageous demands even as her heart yearns for her sweet, steady boyfriend. Connie reaches out to Cliff to save their relationship but he is too distracted exploring a different sort of temptation—the promise of quick and easy money from the shifty Tommy Dukes. Can Connie stop Cliff before he makes an epic mistake? Can she stop herself before she falls too far to ever come back?

My thoughts:
Dirty is part 2 of the Miss Chatterley series. It runs about 80 pages, so it's basically a novella. I was intrigued by part 1, Hungry. It left off just when it was getting good! In Dirty it picks up  minutes after the first book left off: Connie is confused about her sexual encounter with Mellor. She loves Cliff, but his neglect of her has left her very lonely. Cliff is so busy trying to start up his company he is clueless about Connie's feelings. Meanwhile, Cliff's assistant Ivy is trying to micromanage him. She's also interfering with his business dealings with Tommy Dukes.
This is a good series thus far. I love the development in the characters. Connie loves Cliff, but it's clear she's not a priority in his life right now. She's hurt and upset. She'd attracted to Mellor. He fills the need left by Cliff. Ivy is an opportunist and a ladder climber. She's crushing on Cliff, but he doesn't have eyes for her. One good thing about Cliff is that he's loyal to Connie sexually. However Ivy is a little fish getting thrown into a big pond and Tommy Dukes is a shark. I can't wait to find out how her story line plays out.
All in all, I'm happy with the series thus far. Miss Chatterley part 1 and 2 are page turners. They're not only hot and steamy but also quick reads. For those wondering about the hotness factor of the books, the series would border on erotica.
