Moby Dick, Mr. Rochester, and Lots of Jane Eyre: Last Week In Review (46)

I managed to finish two books last week: Jane Eyre and The Door in the Alley (Explores #1). I forgot how much I enjoyed reading Jane Eyre. I am still listening to An Uncommon Courtship by Kristi Ann Hunter. I've also added Mr. Rochester by Sarah Shoemaker to my Currently-Reading list. Lately, I've been trying to plan out my reading schedule, but I'm such a moody reader I'm not sure it's going to work for me. Not only that, there are so many books that I want to read, it's hard to decide what to read first. #readingproblems!

I watched a lot of Jane Eyre over the weekend for a project I'm working on. By a lot I mean, I watched many different versions of the movie. I have Jane Eyre on the brain! I also continued watching Call the Midwife, last week's Doctor Who and Class, and Agents of Shield. In the mood for something new, I watched the first episode of Netflix's Girlboss. I didn't love it. I'm going to watch one or two more episodes to see if it gets any better.

In case you missed it, Audio Sync launched their summer program. You only have one week to download last week's books: The Picture of Dorian Gray and Dead House. Go to for all the details.

And while we're on the subject of audiobooks, I came across this article about Tilda Swinton, Benedict Cumberbatch, and many more who read Moby Dick in it's entirety. It's called The Moby-Dick Big Read. The article includes and excerpt of Tilda reading Chapter One. I hope all the chapters on on Sound Cloud because I would love to listen to it. Check it out if you're interested.
